MIXED MEDIA
DREA AARONS | I am a Champaign-based mixed media artist specializing in hand-cut collage combined with traditional and graphic illustration. I sell prints, originals, and personally designed merchandise through my online shop.
FIRE DOLL STUDIO | I utilize health and environmentally conscious materials to create beautiful and functional housewares through repurposing. The nature of my work allows for fun and funky expression while encouraging thoughtfulness with regard to what we can do with the things we normal just throw out.
CRIS HUGHES | Cris Hughes of Secret Gardens CU (www.secretgardenscu.com) creates natural compositions from foraged flora and fauna from Illinois and beyond. She dries her botanicals to maintain their three dimensional shape and color, and uses specimen pens to create imaginative compositions. The works created from these objects relish in the tiny details and whimsical architecture of nature.
MARC-ANTHONY MACON | My mixed media pieces are a combination of printed images and acrylic paint. It is a joyful blend of color, textures, and perspective.

HUA NIAN | Hua Nian’s paper-tearing artwork is created from torn magazine paper. The unique arrangement of the torn shapes recalls joyful scenes from childhood and motherhood. Themes include Mother and Child; Children and Nature; Children and Animals; Music and Dance; and Playing Together. Originals and reproductions available.
