The Nutcracker presented by CU Ballet and C-U Symphony Orchestra

Champaign Urbana Ballet’s holiday classic, The Nutcracker, returns to Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, December 1st through 4th. This time-honored family tradition features more new costumes—designed and handmade by local volunteers—amazing magical effects, and spectacular new set pieces, like a Christmas tree!

Whether you are a regular to The Nutcracker or are looking for a new experience to ring in the holiday season, you will be surprised and delighted by the intricate additions to the scenery, the live orchestration provided by the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra, and, as always, the artistry and athleticism of CU Ballet’s dancers.
