Volume 2, Number 1 of an Irregular Publication
Late January 2006

What’s new this month?
Check out the red jewelry, heart jewelry, and more on the "all new" page. Many of these pieces are at Wind Water and Light Gallery (10 Main, Champaign).  http://georgiamorgan.net/html/allnew106.htm

And what else is new?

  1. More orange and blue jewelry—hey, it’s basketball season again. You can see it here: http://georgiamorgan.net/html/orange&blue.htm

  2. I’m really excited about 2 "exotic" pieces I’ve just finished. For years I’ve drooled over Japanese imari ware (How come I’ve never bought any???); this month they inspired some big (1/2") beads that I’ve knotted on big cord with big knots:            http://georgiamorgan.net/assets/polymer%20clay/imariLG.jpg

And I continue to be intrigued by the red, green, blue and gold of ancient Egyptian designs—this piece has a lot of Egyptian influence: http://georgiamorgan.net/assets/polymer%20clay/EGchokerLG.jpg

3.   Calla lilies in several new colors—I can hardly keep up with Burpee and the other plant breeders:

Where to find it

Wind Water and Light has moved to Champaign, Illinois—at 10 Main St., in the Sholem Building across from Jim Gould’s restaurant. It is a wonderful space where the owners represent approximately 100 artists, in which number I am proud to be included.

Several gallery pieces are available for purchase at "510 on Prairie," in downtown Decatur, Illinois (143 East Prairie, Decatur, IL 62523 (217) 422-6666).
