artist's statement
In viewing art . . . we see what we look for. Sometimes others force their views upon us, but the pure experience with art is our internal emotional connection.
Life is hurried . . . many people only experience the big picture of life. My goal is to capture details of ordinary places and things that are only noticed when humanity slows down.
artist's biography
Joyce K. Bunce currently lives in East Central Illinois. When she lived in the Chicago area, she took group art classes from a private teacher in Oak Brook, Illinois, and various classes at the Du Page Art League in Wheaton, Illinois.
She enjoys photography, drawing and watercolor painting.
