"Real Talk" Talent Search Announced

Urbana - A talent search has been announced for a new, independent television series called "Real Talk."
Addressing issues from AIDS awareness and police brutality to career opportunities and fashion, "Real Talk" will include interviews and discussions with industry professionals but also allow students to express their concerns. The first show will air on Tuesday, January 24, at 6:30pm on Channel 6 UPTV, Urbana, CANTV 19 in Chicago, and Bloomington Channel 3.
Organizers are looking for people with artistic talent (singers, instrumentalists, actors, painters, etc.) to showcase their skills on the program. Auditions will be held on January 18 and 19, 2006, from 6pm-8pm in Lincoln Hall.
