Forum Announced on Illinois Budget and Nonprofits

Chicago - Organizers have announced a special forum scheduled to take place in late June: The 2007 Illinois State Budget - What Nonprofits Need to Know.  The Donors Forum of Chicago will present the briefing about the 2007 Illinois state budget and will explore the potential ramifications of the state budget to nonprofit organizations and constituents. Panelists, including Ralph Martire, Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, Larry Suffredin, Cook County Commissioner, State Senators Pamela Althoff, Jeff Schoenberg and Iris Martinez (invited) and Representatives Elizabeth Coulson (invited) and John Fritchey, will review the recent session and provide advice on actions to take and what to expect for next year.

The event takes place June 27, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., at the Spertus Institute, 618 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago. For more information, visit
