Deadline Extended for Second Phase of the ART. ASK FOR MORE. Campaign

December 2, 2005
The first phase of the Art. Ask for More. PSA campaign, launched in 2002, earned more than $110 million in donated media over a three-year period, ranked consistently within the top 10 Ad Council campaigns, and garnered 367 local and statewide outreach partners who participated nationwide. The second phase of the campaign will now arm parents with the guidance and tools to become more effective advocates in making arts education opportunities available to children both in school and in their community. The new television, radio, print, billboard, and internet ads will be released and placed in national, state, and local media outlets beginning in 2006. Some of the ads will be localizable to include outreach partners' names for appropriate media markets. Therefore, if you decide to become an official campaign partner, you'll have the chance to increase visibility opportunities for your organization by adding your name to this national Americans for the Arts and Ad Council campaign. Americans for the Arts has extended the deadline to become an official partner until December 16, 2005. For more information on becoming an official campaign partner, please contact Americans for the Arts Government and Public Affairs Associate Nicole Sparks at nsparks@artsusa.org.
