Deadline Approaches for Nominations for County Public Arts Leadership Awards

Americans for the Arts and the National Association of Counties (NACo) seek nominations for the 2006 County Public Leadership in the Arts Award. The deadline is February 28, 2006.
This award is given in recognition of an elected official or the elected county commission/board, who has taken specific steps to advance the arts and arts education within his or her community, and whose vision and leadership provide heightened visibility to the value of the arts.
