Registration for College for Kids Classes Starts May 1

Champaign - College for Kids, a summer enrichment program for elementary and middle school students sponsored by Parkland College, helps youngsters learn something new, explore interests, and discover new hobbies. The program's two-week "mini-courses" cover a variety of subjects including science, math, language arts, computer science, visual/performing arts, humanities, and fine arts. Students entering grades 4-9 are invited to participate. 

Two sessions of College for Kids will be offered this year: June 19-29 and July 10-20. CFK classes will meet Monday through Thursday from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. and/or 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $125 per course.

College for Kids is taking registrations starting May 1. Registration deadline for Session I is June 5; for Session II, the deadline is June 26. Interested persons may register online at www.parkland.edu/coned/cfk or may visit or call the Community Education office at 217/351-2545.
