Cinema Gallery Announces Call for Entries

Urbana - Cinema Gallery has announced a Call for Entries for a Summer show. Illinois artists of color are invited to submit 2D and 3D work for a juried group show and sale: A Brave and Startling Truth, July 15 - August 19, 2006.

Works should embody the vision in Maya Angelou’s poem by the same title and must be available for purchase. Digital images are preferred, but slides or photos of work will also be accepted. Email no more than 3 images for consideration to carolyn@cinemagallery.cc; drop off slides or photos to the gallery 10am-6pm Wednesday-Saturday or mail to the address below. Include an artist statement, biography and contact information. Printed materials will be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included. Email or call 217-367-3711 for more information.

Deadline for submissions: June 17, 2006.

Artist notification by June 24, 2006.

Delivery of work: July 10 -11 by appointment.
