40 North Surveys Participants in 2006 Boneyard Arts Festival

Champaign - 40 North | 88 West, the Champaign County Arts, Culture and Entertainment Council, is soliciting reponses to the 2006 Boneyard Arts Festival, held April 21-23 throughout Champaign County. The organization has created an online survey to track the festival experiences of the public, venues and artists. 40 North | 88 West encourages all who participated in any way in the festival - as an artist, patron, supporter or venue - to complete the survey. It takes just a few minutes, and 40 North will gain useful input on how to make the 2007 Boneyard Arts Festival even better. To fill out the survey, follow this link.

40 North | 88 West, wants to again thank everyone who participated for showing how Art Lives Here during the 2006 Boneyard Arts Festival. The fourth weekend in April was in many ways the biggest Boneyard ever, as over 80 different venues hosted a diversity of visual and performing artists throughout Champaign County. Sculptors, weavers, photographers, painters and other visual artists joined musicians, dancers, actors, poets and other performers sharing their creativity in a wide variety of spaces - from cafes, galleries and cultural houses to retail stores. For late-night revelers, the 2006 Boneyard followed up on last year’s wildly popular Cabaret with Late Night spACE at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center.
