Illinois Arts Council Soliciting Input on the Arts in Illinois
May 23, 2006
Chicago - The Illinois Arts Council (IAC) is asking for the public's input on the arts in Illinois. The IAC has posted a survey online to gather feedback on key themes discussed during their recent Public Listening Tour. IAC Chairman Shirley R. Madigan and IAC Executive Director Terry A. Scrogum invite your views on public funding for the arts and the value the arts bring to your community by completing this quick and easy online survey.
In exchange for your time and input, the IAC has announced that five survey participants will be randomly selected to receive a complete videotape set of Arts Across Illinois*, a television program now in its sixth season on Chicago's WTTW11.
To complete the survey, go to: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=390861917210
The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes and will be open until Friday, June 9 at 5 p.m..
The survey is another step in the IAC's input gathering as it develops a Strategic Plan for the next five years.
