If it’s true that great minds think alike, then Champaign County’s creatives are thinking techMix! Join 40 North September 14 at the Great Impasta restaurant for an exciting first-time-ever creative convergence. For this special techMix gathering, the EDC and 40 North will be bridging the imaginary gap thought to separate the creative worlds of art and technology. Entrepreneurs, artists and engineers from throughout Champaign County are invited to join us that evening for an informal social gathering of technical and artistic minds.
TechMix is sponsored each month by area financial institutions, venture capital firms, real estate brokers, locally-owned businesses and others looking to collaborate with and provide beneficial services to the high-tech communities. At September’s techMix, 40 North hopes to engage the forces in our community which bring together painters and business owners, graphic designers and computer programmers, poets and doctors. Art will be displayed throughout the Great Impasta that evening, and representatives of both 40 North and the EDC will be on hand to answer questions about these two organizations.
