For late-night revelers, the Boneyard follows up on last year’s wildly popular Cabaret with this year’s Late Night spACE at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, 202 S. Broadway, Urbana (the downtown Post Office). This immersive arts event will feature live interactive visual environments, light and sound installations, art exhibitions, performance pieces, dance, and live music, as well as special surprises from Chicago guest artists.
spACE stages are alive from 9 pm – 2 am Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 8:45pm. Cash bar for those with valid ID (water & soda also available).
Saturday from 12-5 pm, spACE also serves as an exhibition site and information area. Tickets are $5 for a single pass or $7 for a two-day pass, and are available at the door or in advance at the 40 North office (call 351-9841).
