April 19th is also Boneyard Creek Community Day. Come out and help fellow residents celebrate, restore and clean up the creek that gave the Boneyard Arts Festival its name. The Boneyard Creek connects Champaign, Urbana and campustown, serving as a unifying symbol for our community.

BONEYARD CREEK COMMUNITY DAY

Scott Park 207 E. Springfield, Champaign

Schedule:

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. (Volunteers will meet at Scott Park and receive assignments)

9:00 a.m. to NOON - Work Time

Clean-Up
Stormdrain Marking & Naturalization activities all around the community

NOON - Lunch in Scott Park


Dress:

Prepare to Get Dirty!
Shoes required (no flip-flops); long pants recommended
T-Shirts provided (no kidding!)
Please wear your t-shirt from last year if you are a return participant
Please help us reduce waste by bringing your own water bottle
